Idlughet Hall’s soaring spaces and architectural beauty will impress guests at first sight, but its well-planned functionality and ability to accommodate the needs of diverse exhibitors will leave a lasting impression on event planning professionals. Capacious loading docks, convenient cold storage, drive-in-drive-out exhibitor access, freight elevators large enough to contain an African elephant, well-positioned data and power, a grid-based flooring system designed with booth setup in mind… Idlughet was designed as a world-class event space for the 21st century.

SUBDIVISIONS

For events requiring less than the entire hall, Idlughet offers flexibility; two of its sections may be rented individually, as Idlughet 1 or Idlughet 3, and in combination with the middle space, Idlughet 2.

Engineering Details

  • Floor: concrete in a 10′ x 10′ pattern to facilitate tradeshow standard booth setup

  • Floor load capacity: 350 lbs/sq.ft

  • Walls: sound-dampening fabric-covered panels on north and west walls. East and south wall (with Concessions, access doors) painted

  • Ceiling height: 30′, suitable for specialty light and sound installation: hanging points every 20′ with 2,000 lbs directly down hooking weight capacity

  • Lighting: LED lights are capable of being programmed using computerized settings

  • Speakers: JBL

  • Internet: wired fiber-optic and Cat. 5; 802.11g throughout

  • Power and floor pockets:

    • Floor pockets spaced at 30′, featuring 60A 3 Phase 208V 30A 3 Phase 208V electrical outlets and phone/data ports. Alternating pockets provide water supply and hookup-type drainage

    • Two (2) Southside distribution boxes provide 400A 3 Phase 208V power

The largest of Idlughet’s three subdividable spaces, Idlughet 1 offers all the multifunctional aspects of the entire hall, without space that you don’t need. Measuring out at 23,700 square feet — it’s half of the entire hall — Idlughet 1 is perfect for a slightly smaller banquet, tradeshow or presentation.

Idlughet 2

The central subdivision of Idlughet Hall is not available as a stand-alone room. Idlughet 2 serves as add-on space when the hall is subdivided, combining with either Idlughet 1 or Idlughet 3 to provide room and flexibility when needed.

As an addition to Idlughet 1, Idlughet 2 provides space for 58 additional booths and about 580 additional patrons. The combination of 2 and 3 create a space a capacity equal to that of Idlughet 1.

Idlughet 3

For events requiring less than half the hall, Idlughet 3 provides all the amenities of the Dena’ina Center’s primary exhibit space in a smaller package. Small is relative of course: Idlughet 3 has the capacity to accommodate a banquet serving 1,000, and over 1,500 event attendees when configured for theater seating.

For events needing more than half the hall, but less than its entirety, Idlughet 2 can be joined to Idlughet 1 to create a 33,180-square foot venue. Again, all of the amenities of the entire hall are at your disposal, without any unneeded empty space or expense.
