Across from Anchorage’s Town Square, adjacent to the Center for the Performing Arts, close to City Hall, great shopping, major hotels and attractions, the Egan Center’s Explorers Hall is a meeting place in the heart of downtown. Large enough to stage a rock concert, but versatile enough to accommodate small luncheons or banquets, Explorers Hall can transform from one venue to another in no time.

SUBDIVISIONS

For events requiring less than the entire hall, Explorers Hall offers flexibility; its sections may be rented individually, as Cook, Arteaga, and La Perouse Halls, and in combination, as Arteaga + Cook and Arteaga + La Perouse.

One of the three subdivisions of Explorers Hall, Cook Hall’s 6,664 square feet offer all the benefits of the entire hall without any unnecessary space. Cook is capable of accommodating 850 attendees in theater-style seating, or 500 in a classroom configuration. When paired with the exquisite catering services of Savor…Alaska, Cook Hall hosts banquets of up to 480 diners.

Arteaga Hall

The middle of Explorers Hall’s three subdivisions, Arteaga Hall is also slightly smaller than the other two. Its 5,880 square feet of space allow for up to 700 attendees in a theater-seating setup, or 400 in a classroom configuration. 384 banquet guests can enjoy the peerless catering provided by the skilled chefs of Savor…Alaska.

La Perouse Hall

The largest—by a mere 98 square feet—of Explorers Hall’s three subdivisions, La Perouse Hall affords event planners 6,762 square feet of space in which to stage their events. In a standard theater-seating setup,  La Perouse accommodates up to 850 attendees, or 500 in a classroom configuration. And up to 480 guests can be seated for catered luncheons and dinners featuring the unmatched service of Savor…Alaska.

Cook + Arteaga

12,554 square feet of floor space to accommodate:
